What are the incentives to install solar?
The government recently gave incentives to trade in older cars, government  and utility incentives to install solar cover half the cost and is some cases more.  (Lipa will Rebate $3.50 per KW up to 10KW that a check for $35,000.00 to you. Name one other item that some one will give you hat much money to buy something that saves you money.

What is the problem with Solar?
This is a proven technology and wildly used, it’s reliability is somewhat unbelievable, with some systems guaranteed for 20 years. Poor The major components are glass, copper, there are no moving parts.

Is maintenance required?
Solar panels require little to no maintenance. Lower installations where pollen can accumulate on panels will decrease their efficiency. In this case simple cleaning in season is al that is needed. Snow melts off tilted panels quickly.

What should I budget?
Typical installations are running $7 per KW for residential and a bit higher for commercial as these installations may require a roof mounting frames and considerations for running cables longer distances.
